Myasthenia gravis is disorder of neuromuscular transmission that is characterized by weakness and fatigue of voluntary muscle. A clinical study of 18 cases of myasthenia gravis was performed at Chosun university college of medicine, from 1988 to
1992.
Maximal thymectomy was performed in 7 cases and only medical treatment had been done in 11 cases. (Korean J Thoracic Cardiovas Surg 1994; 27:219-223)
